I would like to get some help regarding my case. Here are the details.
I was working for software company in chennai. They made us sign bond for two years. IT was on 20 Rs. Stamp paper. The bond was of 4-5 pages. All the employee signed only on the last page (Simple Plain white papers with no rev. stamp) which states we agree for the above terms and conditions. Thats all.
After 6 months of my job, we were all asked to write an examination and since we could not succeed they started deducting 25% of our salary. This exam and salary deduction is not mentioned in any of my employment offer letter etc. When revolted they asked its our choice , If I want to continue, I would have to with dedction of 25% of salary or else I can leave. I worked for few month and left finally as I could not take up the financial burden. After leaving the company, 5 months now they have filed police complaint stating criminal offence (as I held laptop back), misconduct, breach of contract and indicipline.
To this I started getting police calls and they started harrasing me. I consulted an lawyer for which he adviced for applying anticipatory bail so cops dont put me behind bars.
Now since am out of country, and need to furnish suriesties i had asked me lawyer to extend the bail till I am able to come back to india with in 10 - 15 days.
In mean while I returned all the companys assets like laptop and phone etc and obtained a letter stating all the assets have been recovered. Now the company is trying to file one more criminal case against me stating I stole the software and selling in local market. They say they have captured in some CCTV . But there are no camera installed in the company at the first place and second I have not taken any software from them.
What should I do in this regards? The lawyer asks me to come to chennai for bail extension. Second, what if I dont get my bail extended. If my bail lapses, will the law deport me from the country am currently in? How can I sue the company for playing all the dirty games against me?
