Presently working for a law firm based in Delhi. My professional qualification includes a Master in Laws (LL.M) from National Law School, Bangalore with the specialization in Business Laws. I am looking for a switchover in branded Law Firm or a Corporate House. Keeping in mind the present sceneario/recession what are the job prospects in my field. How much is my industry effected with the present recession? Should I go for job portals like Monster.com etc and avail their paid services or contact some HR Consultancy Firms like Kelly Services etc? My area of expertise are vetting and reviewing of Agreements related to Real Estate and Corporate Transactions, preparing memorandums/opinions related to Corporate, Investments and Securities Laws. Further I have lead a legal Due Diligence team of five people and have prepared the Due Diligence report single handedly. I suggest u to firstly use ur connections and relations to find some appropriate jobs in corporate field. New Delhi is full of opportunities for legal guys as all courts from Apex to the court of first instance is there only.
