| Hello Everyone, My wife is teaching a private coaching classes. The employer has asked her to sign a contract. He did not allow her to take a copy home before signing the contract. The contract terms stated that she has to deposit One month’s salary (about 22K - deposited in 2 instalments) with him that can be returned to her once her contract term expires. She did that. Now we need employment verification letter from him which may also include the salary figure for a housing loan. The employer is procrastinating the issuance of this letter citing reasons like his CA is not allowing him – or there are some legal implications of this or that he wants something in writing from the bank or he would courier the letter directly to the Bank. I am not sure why is he doing it. Is he legally allowed to do that? Is there a way that we can ask a copy of the contract and an employment letter stating the tenure and the salary my wife is drawing? Is there anyway we could force him legally to give all the letters in writing? Please reply to my query ASAP as we need ur help and the letters to expedite the home loan process which is stalling the possession of our new home. I appreciate your help jitendersyadav Full Member - Member Since: Sep 2008 Subject - Re: Employer not giving Contract Letter - HELP!! Do you have any proof that your wife is employing there ? If yes, then you can legally chalange him on each & every stage/steps. If No, then sorry. You can't do any things & you would be depend on his own will.
