| Hello- I'm attempting to handle the exungement of my adult record so I can get into nursing school in the Fall of 2009. In filling out the necessary forms I noticed they also ask for my juvenile record. I didn't even remember it, but sadly, I did have an incident; and now I'm wondering if that will factor into the judge's decision making to grant my petition of my adult record. I'm just stressed here, or could I be right on? I'm almost 35 yo; that adult charge occured when I was 19 and the juvenile one (I think) when I was 13 or 14.... Will my juvenile incident complicate or make this more miserable and embarrassing more now than it has to be? And should I retain a lawyer because of it? Or is this, just a legal formality and record keeping thing?????? Please, any advice will be helpful but preferrably, from the legal eagles who have experience in such matter (or have an intelligent opinion they could offer) lurking this board would be grand. Embarrassed and stressed ,-K
