Dear All
We are working in a private limited company in Andhra Pradesh.
our company manufactures DAy Old Commercial Broiler & LAyer Chicks (Poultry)

in our company we have two types of employees
1. permanent employees
2. contract employees

for both type of employees the company directly paying salaries.
the company not having any contract licence / manpower licence from any of the govt bodies.

While giving appointment order they are specifing that " appointment is under contract basis for 2 or 1 year"

Subsequently they are doing renewls.

know we have a doubt: here all the employees falls in same category or different as per labour / contract / employemnt rules.

For permanent employees they are paying bonus, gratuty, LTA, MEdical etc.,
for contract employees they are not paying bonus, gratuty, LTA, MEdical etc.,
for all the employees they are paying PF, ESI, PT.
can the contract employees demand for bonus, gratuty, LTA, MEdical Etc., in this company.

In this company "employemnt under contract " is valid or not.

this company also appointed computer operators, programers under contrct employemnt.

What is the minimum wage for computer professional like computer operators, programers.

please any body clarify our doubts.

Thanking you.

dear
this type of appointment is called fixed term contract.now you tell whether your certifed standing orders have provision of fixed term contract appointment.if it is there than according to terms and condition of standing orders you can appoint.if this provision is not there in your standing order you can not appoint.
if you have appointed them than they are eligible for bonus as permanent employee are getting and will be entitle for gratuity after completion of five years service.minimum wages
you can get from state goverment notification.

Thanks very much. I think for computer operators and other service providers you should give them independent contracts and the employer(company) will only state what to do but not how to be done. This is different from permanent, casual, fixed term contract.

I am a Zimbabwean citizen and it may be possible that your Labour relations might be different from my country. But i believe types of contract are fairy uniform.

You can contact me on or for more details on contracts though from zimbabwean perspective.

Yours

Clemence.
