1.one of my friend(hindu) went on adoption at age of 12yrs, and his adopition was registered
in the registrar office , the adopted parents has not gave him any property , saying
that its their self earned property, he has not got any property from them. whether legally
he has any right over the property of the adoption parents

2.in between this , their original parents,( both were expired), he went asked his elder brothers(3nos)
to give him his portion of property, they have also refused to give him anything saying that
you dont have any right as you have been alredy given to others on adoption, and they have sold
the property which they got and invested /purchased the property in others names.

my friend has not got any thing from the both of them, both are well rich ,
under this situation what my friend has to do.

Dear Friend

In Hindu Law a family get expanded and contracted in the following ways: Marriage, Birth, Death and Adoption

In your case the boy got legally adopted when he was 12 years old and hence, he is no longer belongs to his previous family, he is further never get any share in the property of his adoptive parents unless the property is joint family property.

If your friend is of less then 18yrs of age he may get the maintanence rights.

Regards
