Subject - Contractor's obligation
Hi Every One,

I am working for a Management consultant firm whose business operations are outsourcing and provider of Temp Staffing on contractual period for one year.

Kindly guide me on the obligation of Contractor right from the scratch under the relevant act and also mention us the records and registers to be kept.

I shall be thankful for Your early response to my queries as referred above as I do not have exposure to the contractual procedures.

Please refer Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 which stipulates the obligations of the Contractor and the records to be maintained by him.

Dear

Depending upon the nature and depth of your operations the applicability of CLRA i.e Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 has to be seen .For any Staffing and Recruiting Business firstly it is compliance job .For this you should seek professional help from a local compliance expert.Simultaneously the need for a secure system of issue of offer letters and the joining kit with proper legal back up should be done. This is the start up from there you will go.

. With Regards
