Rs. 45000/- approx.) with a clear understanding that he will put in minimun 2 years of service after completing his training, but he opted to resign without giving any notice. He had also taken a loan for his marriage, which he admitted. We had taken an undertaking when he had come to the company for his settlement, stating that he should repay the amount spent by the company. since he had been avoiding to sign a letter before and after the training. We had sent a reminder for payment of dues from him. He replied that he had not asked for the training hence he is not going to pay the amount spent by the company on his training. His appointment letter does not mentioned of notice period of one month before resigning, can we claim one month's pay as he had failed to give notice . His settlement is not yet done as he is refusing to pay the training expenses. How can the recovery be made of the amount due to the company Pl advise. Regards J.
