A person running a small business firm in muttukadu in the ECR road on way to Mahabalipuram, near Chennai wants to get registered under Tamilnadu shops and establishment act. Kindly advice

There is no registration required under Tamilnadu S&E Act, however you have to file Declarations/ Returns at the end of year.
