Subject - Notice Period- Legal Issues.
Hi All,

Just need your help to understand few things.

I have just resigned last month. I was working with my past company for the last 2 Yrs. I was on takes on training for 6month and probation for 6 months. My appointment letter had a clause of 3 months notice. I had served a notice of 1 months. No one informed about the same when i was resigning. I Left and joined new company and after one month i am getting email from Head Office to pay back Rs. 90000 as 2 months salary as notice period buy out.

Kindly advice us the legal steps the company can take against me. Also advice us if there is any law which can protect me.

I have acknowledgement my appointment letter in 2009, but never acknowledge my new revised Appointment letter which has come on 2010.

Please advice me.

dear
the appointment letter which you have signed has 3 month notice period than you are required
to serve for 3 month on resignation or pay in lieu of notice.
