| Dear Sir/madam, I am seeking a proper guidence on writting to MD regarding Our org.is already a sick unit and situation is already in the hands of Banks from which comp. has taken loans of crores and not performing well so can be seized at any point of time. (1) not coming to office since 4 weeks (2) employees have become baffled and uncertain, insecure for the future of the company. Now,MD informed me to make payments for salary,contract workers,bonus and other statutory eg ESI PF Prot.Tax. and factory liecence renew. But as above mentioned conditions, being a HR deptt Head, what should I write or Do as md is not coming to the office? Please guide properly/. thank u all. Dear Mr.Bhardwaj, It is not the question of getting guidance in the absence of MD. It is to get rid off the situation. Take the situation as a challenge. Discuss with Bank officials from whom loans taken. Ask them to give free hand to enable the Company to make payments towards statutory obligations like PF, ESI, Insurance in the interest of the organization as well as employees. Try to resolve the issues one by one in the absence of MD. If time is favourable for you, you may become the key leader. Also consult with various govt. departments regarding this. It will be helpful for you. Regards, MMRAO. dear sri bharadwaj' i just saw ur querry. presence or absence of the md need not worry you much. do as per delegation available. if you r authorised to make payments you can go ahead if funds r available. if u r to getapproval from md or any other authority before effecting such payments ensure that such approval s obtained. mkmenon
