Subject - aPPRENTIC ACT 1961

Dear all,

I want to know that undre section 18 of apprentic act their is no applicability of labour law so whay undre 16 of the act health and saftey issue is applicable.

Hello!,

Section 18 says - An Apprentice is not a worker during training ( He is a on-job trainee- Practical & Theoretical so he is not entitle for ESI / PF ).

Sec-16 says health & safety is applicable - as to get compensation from employer for employment injury - as Welfare.
