Hi My self Shyam Jaiswal, i work for a night club for last 9 1/2 years, last week on (19/04/11) had a small fight with one of my staff, for a work related reason. it was a small physical fight. but there was no harm to any of us. because of that my boss has decided to terminate both of us from the duty. so i would like to know can they terminate me from my service for this reason. plz. guide me i am working in mumbai. they haven't gave me any notice, our G.M. just told me wait till v call u back. thanks waiting for your reply.

Dear Shyam
Any employer can terminate for indiscipline within the office premises. However before termination he would be required to conduct a domestic enquiry under ID Act.Please dont resign on being asked unless and until you are metally prepared.

Thanks for your advice, any how i wanted to quiet that job, i just wanted to go with clean image. that was not fault yes i raise my hand was my fault. but if they got the full right to terminat me there is no use for arguing with them.
