Hi, I am also pursuing LLM in labour laws and preparing for dissertation. I think one of the majour labour problem in our country is that the exclusion of social security benefits to the large number of people (according to one estimate around 90%) work in unorganised/informal sector in India. most of the social security laws are not applicable to employees working in small sectors units and in agriculture sector, thereby exclusion of large number of our workforce from the ambit of social security laws. I hope topic like social security laws in unorganised sector can be worked upon in dissertation to find adequate solution for such problem.

Dear Yamini,
If you like you can adopt any of the following topics for your research and dissertation:
1) How do the Multiplicity of Labour Laws and Different Enforcement Authorities Affect in Solving Labour Problems in India?
2) Contemplation of Single Window System for Solving India's Labour Problems.
3) Impact of Management's Ignorance about Labour Laws on Employer-Worker Relations
I hope you can have an innovative approach on these issues, as compared to the research on stereotype topics.

Dear Friends
Mr. Dhingra has suggested such wonderful subject for submitting your dissertation. Single Window system for solving Labour Problem. As a matter of fact if you go by one Act, the concerned authority will catch hold of another Act or some other act. As like some other countries, there must be single law which must be enacted in our parliament and other Acts must be declared as obsolete.
The one act must have all the features to cover all the industries for labour. Will it be possible??? Only time has to give reply to this question.

Dear Siddiqui,
You need to take personal consultation from some expert by discussing about your own personal traites, qualities, merits, demerits, experience, strengths, weaknesses, etc., as any answer to your questions may prove to be quite casual and irrelevant for each interview, if replied in casual manner.
