Dear, I had resigned my duties after serving 6 years in the company, Now the management is asking to sign the IP Agreement. How valid is this for a company to ask the employee to sign before the exit. Please help me I am in crucial juncture now.

Ideally a company cannot ask its ex employees to sign anything once the employee resigns. Many companies, mainly software and other IP driven companies, ask their employees to sign an IP assignment agreement before an employee joins the company. Sometimes, many companies include the IP assignment clause in the employment agreement itself. IP Agreement is a valid agreement under law.
