Sir, I am working in one of the best reputed organisation through the register man power supplier contractor. But where I am working that principal employers has deducted my national holiday from 1st april 2011 to 31st march 2012. and H R department has also deduct the 2nd and 4th saturday which is given only to the permanent employee of the organisation . The Main question is, can this deduction is appear as per the Labour law or principal employers can deduct the same from my monthly salary. with regards.

Hi Anil,
You need to check out the company calendar/holiday list for this, if it does not provide holiday on those days then there will be deductions.
Secondly, you must make sure that those holidays do not fall under MANDATORY holidays, like Aug 15th, Oct 2nd....... in those days, the companies are mandatory to follow the holidays and they can not deduct.......
