I joined the Mahindra Satyam in Dec 2011 from this time till the day I relived (11-May-2012) I was on business wait (Not on Any Project); my salary was being reduced every month and I felt this will hinder my career growth. Hence, I made a decision of separation from Mahindra Satyam.

During my service period, Mahindra Satyam did not spend any money on my training and by the time I left the organization, I was not on any ongoing project.

While joining, HR had clearly told me that the bond is only to gain confidence in the mind of the clients and it would be applicable only if we were to leave the job in the middle of any ongoing project. However, in my case, I was not involved in the project for a day! It was only based on the assurance of the HR personnel did I decide to sign bond. That person is no longer associated with the company.

Now HR is not providing the reliving letter. In addition, they are asking me to pay back bond money.

Please help me regarding this.

While signing such bond, you must go through and fully understand the contents available in the bond. If your HR or your line manager is insisting for signing such bond, you must inform them to reduce the same whatever they told verbally into writing. Otherwise it will be a problem for you. That is what you are facing now.
As I understood, you must pay the bond money and notice pay for whatsoever you have signed and get out of such issue. If they black list your name, then it will be very difficult to get a good opportunity in your future.

By the way, I wanted to know - if they black listed my name, does it only affect if I rejoin the Same Company? How it will affect my future carrier?

Can you please tell what exactly was written in the bond. As far as black listing is concerned... there is no such NASSCOM site where employers can blacklist an employee. All employers in IT / BPO/KPO use this arm twisting trick to threaten employees !!! correct me if I'm wrong along with the NASSCOM URL that employers claim exists for blacklisting. Pl refer to this older post
