We are going to renew contract of labour supply to our labour supplier WEF of 1st April 13 to March 14 with strength of 20 Nos. As a principle employer any need to do any formalities/procedure/documentation with labour department? If yes in which format?If we hired labours from contracters less than 20 is effect in procedure/documentation/formalities?

Please Purchase a book named "Contract Labour (R&A) Gujarat Rules and read the same. In that you will get the formats.
Please fill Form I, attach your office Certificate of Incorporation, List of Contractors you have planned to engage with their maximum strength and Fee chalans. Then Submit the same to your area ALC Office.
They will issue the Certificate of Registration of Establishment in Form II. Further you have to issue a certificate in Form V to your contractor who are engaging more than 20 workers and a copy of Form II, with that the contractor will apply for Contract Labour Licence.
