I have a serious concern and I would require your help as per details below:

A female friend of mine joined a reputed company around 6 months back as a Senior Hr Executive with the role of individual capacity only however during first 3months there have been quite a few verbal appraisal about her work. After 3 month of her job when she got to know about her pregnancy then she informed her manager about the same who havent looked positive about that & from next day onwards he started to find the reason to get rid of her, fortunately/unfortunately he hasn't found any. A month on he asked the employee to resign, upon denial he issued a termination letter citing performance as the reason (however there is no documentary proof which talks about her poor performance).

Now i would seek genuine advice as to what shall be her next course of action and how to proceed about it.

Is there a law which shields her to terminated during pregnancy?

Kindly let me know if any other information is required for clarification.
