Hi
My father has been working in a Pvt. Ltd. company for last 33 years.
Suddenly of 1st of jan he received a letter saying that he has been relieved from services of the company for the reason that \"You have completed superannuation age\"
what does that mean?
please suggest what can I do in this case
My father DOB 2/6/1957
and date of joining is jan 1981

Dear Friend, superannuation age means, you father has exceeded the age to work. as a friend if i have to suggest, provide all the facilities BEST OF WHAT U CAN, to him and ask him to take rest and enjoy his retirement age. Now pl realize that its your turn to prove yourselfs. What you have to do is communicate with the company officials and ensure that your father is getting all the retirement benefits as per his terms of employement, like PF pension if any etc. But in any case it is not ideal to ask him to work still. Its my personal opinion please, hope you agree, Regards JSR
