Help with Sexual Harassment - Factories Act, 1948. We are having units in SEEPZ –SEZ, Andheri, Mumbai & registered under DISH.
More than 150 women’s are working as operators.
1. Resolution & Provision and rules were made under factory act, 1948.
2. Suggestion for statutory procedure/ returns
3. What records are to be maintained?
4. Is there any compulsion to have percentage employment in an org.?

The Factories Act only provides for creche and other welfare facilities. But the Maternity Benefit Act will apply, so also Equal remuneration act will be applicable. You have to frame the policy on Sexual Harassment and form the Internal complaints committee also.
