Hi All,
I want to take advice from the legal People, one of my female friend in the organisation has complained about his Manager to the management. She is into her family way, his manager has asked her to resign 1 week before going to maternity leave.
Please share your legal advice.

Dear Sir/Mam,
My name is Sonia working with private firm & I am pregnant with expected date in the month of March'11.
I want to take advantage of your scheme in which pregnant women can take her salary & treatment from Govt. (ESIC) but the issue is my company asked me to resign instead of providing maternity leaves (as per the company policy they are saying that you should have pass 6 month in company before conceiving) & as per the information received from your ESIC employees working in Hospital i would not be able to have treatment & compensation if i resign from my job.
Kindly suggest me what to do in this circumstances as i want to get myself treated & want to take all eligible advantages from ESIC
Need your intervention on the same on urgent basis.
