An employee of ours had some complication with her pregnancy after 9 weeks in March 2017. She has already availed of 30 days leave on this account. Now she says she will join work only after delivery and taking the 26 weeks mandated by the law citing her doctors advice. This means she wants to stay away from work from March 2017 to March 2018. As all our work is stuck due to her absence what options do we have in this case.
