Dear All, My appointment letter of 2012 mentions a clause that I will be bound by the code of conduct of the company and online staff guide which is available on Intranet. My confirmation letter of 2013 states that my services are terminable from either side by giving 3 month's notice / 3 month's salary in lieu of notice (it does not mention that this will be subject to discretion of management).
Now the online guide has a topic on cessation of duties which mentions that decision on notice period is at the discretion of management. My HR is insisting to serving 3 month's notice while I have given 1 month's notice and ready to compensate for the short notice. Kindly suggest the remedies available with me in this matter. Thank you
