Good morning to the HR experts in the forum. I represent a software company in Hyderabad. I want to discuss about an employee who was very inconsistent to work. He just joined in December 2019 and after which he only came for 1 and half month to work. After which he was very inconsistent to work due to his health issues. He now wants to resume his work. By nature he is a very argumentative person. Though as an individual we understand ones health issues as a company we are not very confident about his consistency to work which is very essential for the role. Until now he was in his training period and now once we onboard him into the project such inconsistent appearance to work will effect the reputation of the company as it a customer support role. In such cases, we would like to seek experts opinions as to how should the employment of the individual be treated.
