Hi, I have resigned from a company on 28 Sep, 2019 without serving notice period of 2 months as per my appointment letter. The company accepted the same and I got my salary for the month along with an email clearly stating that my notice period has been waived off by the company. When I asked the company for the unpaid allowance, they sent me a notice in Dec 2019 for the recovery of notice period pay. The clause related to the notice period reads as follows: "Your services can be terminated at anytime by giving one month notice by the company. You can leave the company by giving two months notice".
