Hi, I have few queries. I'm working in IT firm , due to covid-19 lockdown we are all working from home . Last month we got mail regarding salary deduction . even though we worked from home our salaries are deducted . that we agreed because industries are closed they are facing difficulties and all. But today we got another mail in that they specified that 10 days of Earned Leave (EL) will be debited for every employee. I didn't took a day of leave in this lock down period we are working hard. I just wanted to know does the employer have rights to deduct of Earned Leave? Is this legal?
I don't have much information regarding this , it will be helpful if anyone provide right information .
