Hi all, this is with regard to the fixed-term employment contract. My query is- can companies exempted or not covered under standing orders act make fixed-term employment? If yes, will such employees be paid the statutory benefits (pf, bonus,esi, gratuity etc) same as a permanent employee? That is are the ended standing order rules wrt fixed-term contract applicable to such hiring being done by companies not covered by standing order act?

FTC (Fixed term contract) employees are employees taken by the company for specific jobs on full time basis, for specific period of service, can say for 2 years, or 3 years or 4 years or so.
Such employees are entitled to get all statutory benefits like PF, Bonus, Gratuity etc like permanent employees of the company.
