Hello, I'm working for a private company from May 2019 to till date. My probation period is one year. After one year based on performance employer should give me job confirmation and benefits. But the employer came to know that I'm pregnant before giving my letter. Now they want to extend my probation saying my performance needs to improve. Other employees who are not performing well or poor than me got their letters. They don't want to give me confirmation due to my pregnancy but want to mention other reasons. But everyone in my organization knows about my work. What can I do?

Action of your management is totally unjustified. If your performance is not upto the desired level, you should have been put in the PIP. If your probation is extended, they should have given you a probation extension letter. Have you received it?
