I was posted in a company as a manager on a contract basis now company has sent me a termination letter with LWD 3rd Oct,20. When I asked HR what compensation I will get he told me only two months' notice and gratuity since I was working here for 12 years.

Just want to know is retrenchment compensation not allowed to contract manager

My position was a manager in documents but I was not a decision-maker even I was not having the authority to approve leave of assistant manager without taking approval from client all administration control were with clients only. There no matter of no renewal of contract as the contract is going on and few people who joined after me are still working on the same company

Also, my name is in muster roll and I was singing daily attendance register

It happened due to retaliation as I was not agreeing with the client in their unethical practices and have taken valid action on vendors who were doing wrong in the company and saved more than 25 lakh per month which resulted in the client has targeted me terminated during covid reason given in the letter is due to role redundency but another person who joined last year has deployed at my place

Please suggest how to go further.
