My question was viewed by more than 100 members but no one has replied. Is there no answer to this question or is more clarity required about the issue?

A Hindu friend of mine went on adoption at age of 12 years and his adoption was registered at the Registrar's office. The adoptive parents did not give him any property saying that its their self earned property- he has not got any property from them. Legally would he have any right over the property of the adoptive parents?

Further, in the meantime, the adopted child went to his siblings from his birth parents (both of whom had expired) to ask for his share in their inherited property. They also refused to give him anything saying that you don't have any right as you have been already given to others on adoption. They said they have sold the property which they got and invested /purchased the property in others names.

My friend has not got any thing from either of his families- both of whom are well-off. Under this situation, what should my friend do?
