What should be the number of days the for salary calculation? I shall try to explain- I have come across a strange situation wherein salary is calculated on 26/25 days excluding weekly off.
Is this a right way? As far i understand only gratuity is calculated on 26 days. Please advise.

In my opinion salary must be calculated as follows:
salary = No. of P day (Including W.off)/ no. of days in the month
For example, Feb, 11 Salary*28/28,
If one has not taken an off in a particular week into consideration salary = no. of P days/26
